On my 4th day in the foothills I visited Wal-Mart for entertainment after my coffee shop closed at 3. To compound my chagrin I could not tweet my situation because I had neither wi-fi at the coffee shop nor 3G coverage. Wal-Mart sucked so I decided to rent a pile of movies for myself. I drove to Blockbuster and found that it has gone out of business (but the lights were on…?). Oh well, I made friends with the owner of the movie place right by my mom’s house and he was cool. It’s the last place to rent movies in the county, apparently. What a sweet place this is, i.e., the foothills.
